Editing collision object does not make an effect on the emitter

Post by mimiko07 » Sun Apr 19, 2020 12:39 am

Hello,

I'm fairly new to realflow.
I created a collision plane for the liquid to hit, but then I decided the platform had to be lower, but after shifting it down, the emitter still collides with the previous location of where the plane was.

I believe the flow animation got cached at those points, but is there a way to reset the simulation so it can collide with the plane's new position?

Hi

yes, you are probably looking at a cached sim in this case. If you are using the plugin-version of RF inside C4D then simply uncheck "use cache" at the parameters of the RF scene object as shown on this page: https://nextlimitsupport.atlassian.net/ ... cene+Cache
RF10.5 standard + RFC4D3, Mac&Windows
