objects as "mesher" or rigid particles

Post by lutoluto » Sun Sep 22, 2019 10:08 pm

hi there,

question: I want to do an animation with apples and cookies flowing through a cylinder like object or whatever.
I know you can do like a rigid body and clone it to drop things around in c4d, but it is not giving me the effect I need.
So I thought I could drop my apple into the emitter, but the apples are instanced in the position the object is and they are not rolling like an apple would do. So I thought okay add the realflow rigid to it. but then it just disappears and I only see the particles.
So is there any way of doing this with realflow or is this a task for xparticles?

Best reagrds and thank you all

Hi

I have used a cloner for such projects in the past or the options in RF standalone, but if you use RFC4D and already have X-particles available, then I would recommend to use X-particles. You can still combine it with fluids if necessary and there are WAY more options for the modification of the motion of the bodies in this way.
