Your chances are the same as everyone elses my friend and I'm sure your creative mind will overcome whatever limitations the demo version puts on you.
Good luck, and we're all looking forward to everyone's entries.

CONTEST 2007

How will you determine whether an animation or an image is better, or are there 2 categories?
Well Steve, who'd be on a jury eh? Which is better, the Mona Lisa or Citizen Kane? Does one have more merit than the other based simply on the number of "frames" it is in length, or the technicalities of it's creation, or the interpretation of the subject matter?
I'd love to be a fly on the wall if Orson and Leonardo were down the pub discussing that one over a pint of real ale.

ps - there is only one category and each entry will be judged on its own merits. No-one said this was going to be easy :)

I'll probably be hated for saying this but... neither. The Welles' picture that takes it home is Touch of Evil, and for Da Vinci, I'm going to have to go for his Vitruvian Man. Let the flaming begin :).
As for you Katisss, I don't think they should have banned you, isn't the CGSociety a community for all cg artists? (rhetorical)
