Hello everyone,
I'm having some issues in getting Motion Blur in 3ds Max with Vray.
I'm emitting from an object in realfow using the PBD solver, exported the .abc and .bin files and stitched the .abc.
Using the RFMesh Loader or the VRay proxy methods I can't get the Motion Blur.
Does anyone knows if there's any problem using the dyverso emitting from an object to get the motion blur later in Max?
BTW my Geometry scale is - 0.0150 and the speed emitting from the object is 1.5.
Can the problem be related to the scale?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

I don't have 2015 yet, any minute now I hope, but generally, you can't use motion blue with Real Flow meshes. Since the mesh physically changes for every frame, I think it screws up the motion blur algorithms. Every time I've tried to use motion blur, it always does crazy things to the liquid in the shot.
If I need it, I typically use motion blur in Adobe Premier or After Effects during editing.
Good Luck,

Did you follow the example in the video mentioned above?
Are you emitting from an object?

Re: Motion Blur - Object Face Emission
Tomorrow I'll be doing more tests but if you have time try to use an object to emit, instead of filling it, the particles and let me know if you can get the MB with VRay.
Re: Motion Blur - Object Face Emission
Vitor Teixeira, apparently this is a problem in vray. If I press render button first time, I have motion blur in picture. When I re-render picture - motion blur not. If I re-create proxy file and press render button, first time I have motion blur again. If I do it again motion blur not exist.
