With this method you will see that you can increase the resolution much more than with the script. The speed of melting you can adjust with the number of neighboring particles.

I try to make long string drop, I do this with "Tensile strenght" or "Surface tension"?

For the "stringy" appearance I have introduced the sheeter daemon that acts only on the molten fraction, the second domain. But I have reduced the age setting of the daemon because wanted to avoid that the mass of the molten material increases too much when it is already on the floor.

So I’m still working (learning) on it.
I’m tring to make thin and long drop, seems difficult to achieve, maybe impossible?
I saw in another post that it is a non certain way to do it with realflow...

There are many possible variation of parameters, sure, but what is the goal in the end? And that determines the solver to be used (sph, viscous, semi-viscous, elastic). If it should be a natural substance then looking at video footage of such a phenomenon could help (lava, liquid iron etc.).

The tendrils form nicely with the sheeter filling in Dyverso PBD particles, but it is at this stage not really a viscous simulation. What is especially missing is the thinning and stretching of a viscous material. So, a different solver has to be used for this in my next experiment....
