How do you fracture an object but keep it hollow?
How do you fracture an object but keep it hollow?
Every time I fracture an object it fills in the inner space with geometry. How do I avoid that? For instance, say I want just a glass cube. How do I shatter it so just the "walls" break and the "inside" is still hollow?

I have not done this myself, but I assume that you have to prepare your model in order to shatter like that. Use extrude functions in your 3D-software to give thickness to the walls of the cube, then import and shatter.
