Particles wobbling inside mesh.

Postby ranqiz » Thu Aug 17, 2017 2:09 pm

Hi,

As in topic, how to avoid that type of behavior? I already have KSpeed, and still this occurs, what other settings are responsible of this.

Here's the simulation preview in movie file:

Hi

I see, the sheeter daemon has helped you with the filling process. The wobbling can be reduced additionally with the drag force daemon. Also take care to inactivate the noise field daemon after the filling.

This isn't because of deamons. Noise, vortex etc, anyway are as bounded. It is also just with gravity, particles behave crazy. It can't be like that, because then mesh is also wobbling, and it is too fast.

Maybe mesh settings? Or mesh need to be prepared for RF? Mesh normals? Now it's useless.

This is usually not about mesh settings inside RF. Maybe you can reduce the motion more with the properties of the fluid such as vorticity parameters and the drag daemon. Strange that the k_speed does not seem to work.
Also scene scale may play a role in the sense that the filled objects are too small in comparison to the emitter. The particle motion is less visible if a larger container is filled.
