how to automatically remove particles

Postby mikinik » Thu Sep 10, 2015 2:05 pm

Hi guys! tell me please is there a standard way to remove particles on the ID number of the counted cache? I have 600 frame cache of particles, some particles flew the wrong way, as that remove them not manually? maybe there is a script for this?
sorry for bad English

But how do you define which ones are the "bad" particles? There are possibilities if you can define a geometric region, but otherwise you would relay on manual selection.

maybe useful:

ChristianZ, thank you very much, script is what I need! :) I wanted to list the ID numbers manually, but it is now not needed.
I have another task. I need to remove particles in the percentage of the total number. you can help and suggest how to specify the percentage of particles automatically in a script? I would be so grateful!
