Okay, here's the link. Please be advised it contains CG untextured breasts in motion. You have been warned.

It was done in Lightwave by Umemaro, but that's about all I know (I use XSI, and I cannot identify his process). The main thing is that in his finished animations the breasts fall, flop and deform according to gravity and whether they're fondled or not.

I don't know how much that picture actually relates to his regular process. I do know that judging by how 'realistically' things move in his animations, he is either an amazing animator OR he is using some kind of gravity/softbody/liquid system. I doubt he is using springs or cage deformers/lattices. It's hard to make things 'flop' like that and preserve volume like that.

Do you know his secret? Or can you accomplish the same? I know I'd love to hear it if you do.

Btw, I know I run the risk of derailing this thread into juvenile accusations and mudslinging by focusing so much on breasts (it has happened before in other places) but I think/hope people here are a bit more mature. Besides, the techniques can be applied to a lot of other things.

The picture is from Umemaro's blog. He does CG pornographic animations which display a surprising amount of technical ingenuity. So if you're not offended by such things, taking a look at his works might be interesting.

LW's SoftFX would have probably been used for this. Its not bad at jiggly things and simulating secondary motion on flexible objects such as antennae etc.

I am having an issue with filling a soft body sphere with water and droping it onto a plane, as you can see in the picture.

Any ideas how to stop the sphere penetrating the plane and the particles escaping?

Ahh, I have fixed it. All i needed to do was increase the minimum seb-step, I tried 100 but it was still incorrect, but a minimum of 333 worked out just fine. :biggrin:

If your collision distances are too small then perhaps you could increase them and then not need maximum sub steps,... just something to consider.
