rigidBody transform constraints?

rigidBody transform constraints?

is it possible to contraint the movement of rigidBodys to 1 axis? like if liquid hits it it only moves in the Y translate axis.(up or down movement).

This is something that would have to be scripted

Can't try it right now but maybe give this a try.

Simulate your rigid body movement as normal
Delete the object(s)
Import the created .sd file you just made
Select the object(s)
Press 'SD to Curve'
Delete the X&Z translate curves.

It may not work because the animation may still be determined by the values within the .sd file.
