Ridged Body and Fluids Problem

Postby psrkprasad » Sun Jan 02, 2011 7:40 pm

hi all
actually my target is a ship on ocean and the ship collide to ocean wave particles,
i am using grid fluid domains and i creating waves and take a ship convert to ridged body and given gravity when i given gravity the ship falling down through the domain,
actually i tried exclusive links also but that way doesn't work any help...

Did you try adjusting the mass of the boat? Maybe it's too heavy?

Im not sure if im understanding right but here goes. The domain will hold the particles but if your ship sinks out the bottom it has nothing to catch it. You need another rigid body like a box this will hold your particles and catch your ship if it sinks.

Tehbath is right: I just finished doing the same thing. You need a floor or the ship will fall through the particles :)
