Particle id

Is it possible to see visually particle's id in real flow like Maya's numeric display? If this option is there it would be helpful my workflow, if someone knows about this just share with me. :)

Hi.

No, you can't, not the way you want to anyway. If you click on Tools > Particle Tooltip and hover over a particle you'll be able to see a lot of info about that particle but you can't change the display of all of them.

Thanks for the page suggestion,

I just wanna to see every particles density, I can access the value by getDensity function. I couldn't which particles is where in the object.

Hmm, you can see the density of each particle by going to the emitters display tab and selecting it in the 'Property' option. It won't give you any numeric values however.

It may not help you but you can view the numerics of Rf particles when you import them into Maya.

Yeah mate, the second method, importing particles into Maya and seeing the ids kind of useful.
