Initial state exploding objects

I have been following the tutorial *here*, and I'm having a problem with initial states...

I'm using version with the 3DS max plugin

All of the bodies are Rigid bodies...
The balls have a rigid body primitive type sphere, and the "bowl" has a primitive type mesh.

The balls do not reset to their initial states when I press reset. Instead, the reset to seemingly random positions. What gives?

This is a video which should demonstrate the problem.
