Currently there are two scripts you can use to generate foam. Check out the NL scripting homepage, register and download the beer foam scripts. If you don´t mind to wait two or three weeks please have a look at the scripting section then. I´m preparing a fully customizable foam script at the moment with several parameters to adjust. If you need help with bealobo´s (NL homepage) scripts please post to the Python section of this fourm and you´ll receive support.

EDIT:
It´s the same with me! I just didn´t register I´m in the RF3 forum here. Sorry!

For some reason i hadn't registered that this was the RF3 forum. Sorry. I assume its RF3 you're working with and so dont have access to the scripting function.

Hmmm, anyone have any RF3 ideas? My initial thought is shading based on some parameter like velocity or some such if its accessible, or dumb particles from your host 3D app.

Sorry, not very helpful.

hmmm

sounds tricky. maybe texturing could help a bit.
like top bottom/blend/mix materials which could be animated to "grow" a foam crown, but i think that is be very tricky and might not even lead to an effect realistic enough.
basically the idea is to have two materials, one for beer and one for foam and then blending them. but as i said, that might not be enough for your purpose...

Hello everyone!
I'm new to RealFlow as I am to this forum.
I've been trying to make the beer foam script work, but can't seem to get there. I've checked the linked discussions and googled for examples or tutorials with no luck whatsoever.
Could anyone post simple steps and an example file to help the newbies?

Cheers!
