You can either mail it over to me if you like and I'll post it for you, or you can link directly to it? I'll PM my email addy if you choose the former. This is really appreciated Greg, thank you.

Would you mind if I linked to this thread from the "Scene repository" thread I've started, just to keep all these things in the same place?

DING DING DING. Nobody gets that reference. I've been ranxerox for over 10 years and you are maybe the 3rd person who knew what it meant.

you're welcome for the scripting example and stick with it. It's amazing how far you can go with it.

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to recreate something very similar to this for a logo. The closest example of my goal is Fusion CI's splash, video 2, 2nd one from the left.
http://www.fusioncis.com/fusion.html

I tried out the custom script and was able to tweak it very close to my desired effect for the crowning, however this method doesn't seem to have to recoil effect for the droplet that flies up in the center after the crown has fallen.

Has anyone had success by adding another command section to the script daemon or any other methods.

I imagine this is scriptable too no? Another force pushing down hard on the centre of the crown and then allowing the natural forces to spring it back into the recoil you're looking for?

Alternatively, have you treied it with actual geometry or particles?

Just thinking out loud really as I've not rtied it, nor am I particularly script savvy :)

yeah, there's no reason the second part couldn't be another script which starts at a later time which is the same basic script, but just forces that bubble straight up in a cylindrical force. Right now the timing in my splash script is hardcoded.. it will be nice when we are able to make custom named attributes in realflow. Angel has said that this will be possible in future versions.
