Hi !

just a little platform issue here.. the latest version (final.mov) was made with the intel indeo video codec, which is not available for MacOSX anymore. Sorenson, like the other ones, or mpeg would be fine for "us" :cool:

Ahhh, a picture. That explains one or two things, especially with regards lighting. Nice work though, and as you say, when you're doing this much number crunching on only two machines getting an end result like this must be all the sweeter.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks for the movie conversion !

I found it interesting to see, how the flooding looks after the addition of mesh, spray and after the compositing works. Such a wave appears much lighter, more like driven by the air or a shockwave than by the weight of the water.

Well, I am still at the "liquid mercury" stage at the moment...

yeah i think another thing if i were to do it all over would be to have my inital particle sim for meshing to be alot heavier looking.
