RFRK + vrayforc4d

Hi,

Getting some weird results when trying to render SSS on a mesh generated by the Realflow RK Mesh. Material is all black... only spec shows.
Is this a known issue?

ok, it seems as if the normals are inverted by default. Exported an obj of the mesh to test it.
How do i reverse the normals of the mesh without making it editable?

I found a solution. In the plugins Mesh tab i put -1 in the scale property and that fixed it. Guess it's a "quick and dirty fix" but works for now.

Interesting observation, thanks for reporting.
I wonder if this is due to a recent change in the vray bridge (at version 1.8 now)?
Maybe it should be reported to Nextlimit.
RF10 standard, System specs: OSX 10.11, MacPro 4.1 2xXeon, GTX980Ti, 64 GB RAM
