realflow BIN import

Postby helium » Fri Jun 25, 2010 4:05 am

hello everyone,

I met some problems when I try to import Realflow mesh into Houdini (bin format). I have a sequence of bin files (mesh0000.bin ~ mesh0077.bin). On Houdini side, I use mesh$F4.bin or mesh00$F2.bin, but neither works for me. Could anyone let me know how to import the sequence correctly? btw, i already read the tutorial, but i don't understand why i have to use 01$F5 for that example.

Thanks,

Mike.

by default realflow uses 5 digits .. are you sure those are the names of your files ? Unless you changed the output option in realflow you should use mesh$F5.bin

try that, if it doesn't work maybe something else is the matter. BTW which sops are you using, the ones from realflow or the Mark Story ones ?
