Hi is the fluid dynamics in houdini 10 better than realflow?

Depends on what you mean by better, also depends on what kind of fluid you want to simulate. From my experience the SPH fluids in Houdini are relatively slow and primitive compared to what's in RealFlow, but the solver is more available to the user in Houdini and the information in the simulation can be manipulated in more ways (like per particle attributes). Fluid in Houdini are powerful if they are slow ist just because you can cache or pass the simulation to a render farm and of course because you do what ever you want in Houdini,i'll soon put a deep review on Houdini fluid solver and the interaction with particles,passing Data from solver to solver etc...

I have realflow to go with cinema 4d. Cinema 4D dose not have fluid simulations.
Maya has fluid simulations to.
I was just wondering why they had a plugin for these 2 program's.
Well dose realflow have better fluid simulations ect.. right?? :happy:

Maya has functions for fire and smoke, yes, but not for liquids that you can fill up a container (nparticles are not yet good for realistic liquids). The smoke simulations you can have now in Cinema4D via plugins as well:

been using fluids in houdini a lot latley. There is a very powerful system in there , but out of the box, it needs a lot of advanced DOPS wisdom to coax beautiful results. But things like post sim upres , distributed simulation ( with Hque, which by the way has Cloud computing capabilities in beta right now !! :):)

now, that being said, I still think realflow has faster SPH . So you could say, sim the 'body' of the fluid in Houdini with voxels, and sim your spray in reaflow using the new houdini plugins they have just released.....haven't tested that pipeline yet though. As well, RF5 is supposed to have a voxel solver , so we'll see what that brings to the table.
