the way to reduce sloshing

Hello,
It's basic question.
The Simulation show me hard sloshing,
I hope reduce this effects to make silent scene, fill green area.

the SD from 3ds max 2012
Scene Scale:0.1
DeamonScale:1.0
Fluid Density:35.0
DragFroce:10.0
Gravity:9.8

the glass moving very little,the fluid motion is too hard.

Hi.

There are probably a few reasons this is happening.

Firstly, your density is set to 35. The default is 1000 for water. This setting is making your fluid way too light.

Also, even with your scene scale set to 0.1, in the Rf world, your glass is still 7m² .

Hi,
I apply 100,000 to dencity value.
It show no change effects, or only little bit change.

I apply 500 to Gravity, the fluid sloshing is made little,
but make flickering, particle bivration frame by frame,unstable result.
sumulation step 50 - 400, it's high value for us.

someone know solution for this problem?

Changing particle properties that much may induce all kind of strange effects. Maybe you can setup the scene in a different way, such as making a slow motion project in RF and accelerate it later for rendering.
What you may also try are different daemons to influence the behavior of the fluid, the drag force for example.

I try to change more smaller scene slcale, scale change 0.1 into 0.01.
this scene is sloshing small and silent.

Small scene scale make low fluid resolution, And need increase fluid resolution.
I have needed increase fluid resolution x100 = 100,000.
the fluid basic property(viscosity,presser,...) was no change.

I need to use small collision distance each Geometry(glass and so on),
It brings shape detail to fit wall of glass.(default value does not brings enough detail in this scale)

fluid density 1000.0(default)
Gravity 9.8(default)
Drag 1.0(default)

I do not need strange value for these deamons,
no tlick paremeter value,

I got very good result,:-)
