Crowdflow with Magic Demon

Postby Rajavasanthan » Mon May 27, 2013 7:24 am

Hi
I am working on a commercial.
I want the particle should follow the path and after certain frames it should morph into particular shape. I will user filter demon to transfer the particle to other deamon and i will use magic deamon for morph. But...

My Crowd flow Particles are not Following the object. I don't know why.

I have attached the screenshot of crowd flow settings.

Frame rate is 200. Min Step is 1 and Max step is 50.(I want this sequence in high speed so frame rate should be 200 if fps is 200 then Max step should be 50. So i can not change this values.)

I searched in net for proper Tutorials for crowdflow but i cant find anything. If some one have a proper tutorial please post it.

Can any one help me regarding this?
Thank you.

Hi

Did you press the sd<->curve button for the path object (assuming its an imported object). This is required.

Your Observation Distance - Objects is set 1 but the Connect radius is set to 25. The value of 1 in Observation Distance means the particles will not detect any objects further away than 1, including the path, so the Connect radius of 25 is not really active and also seems very large for your scene.

HI, Lots of thanks for your help.

I figured out the problem and now its working fine. :D

But i have another doubt. My crowdflow particles are following the object but its not looking like water. its like a tube. I need the particle to behave like water with some randomness.

i have attach a example screen shot of what i am expecting.

Thank you.
