I'm desperately trying to get the texture imported into 3dmax from realflow 2012 ..
Everything looks good in realflow and the texture distorts nicely as it moves along with the fluid movement.
I only need to export a single frame for this so have been exporting single frames as obj which I hoped would take the uvw info with it. However when I import into max the model comes in nicely but with no map or mapping coordinates as far as I can tell. just an empty material map slot.
I thought it might have something to do with scale as I always have to scale down the reference model I'm using when importing from 3dmax first, but that didn't seem to be the problem...
I've attached an image of how it looks in realflow with the stretched texture. I want it to look the same in 3dmax ... with texture and all ...
anyone have any ideas ?
