Mesh flicker and tremble with slow motion particls help me!

Postby yjcnbnbnb200 » Fri Sep 02, 2011 3:53 pm

I have searched for the same topic in the forum and found that many people had the same problem. But I do not know which solution suits me. So help me please~~

Description of my problem:

I make a candle melt scene in realflow 5, then mesh it. As we all know, at the very beginning the candle particle almost did not move, but my mesh tremble and flickering all the time which lead to my very flickering render in 3dsmax. (This seems that the material is moving on the surface all the time!!!)

My scene scale is just 0.1.
My particles move very very slowly.
[h]My particles resolution is 1[/h]. (70'000)
My mesh relaxation is 0.2 and @steps is 64 and tension is 0.1. (Poly size 0.05311)
My mesh particles blend factor is 90.

So I think my scene maybe OK? So What can I do now to solve the problem?

Someone said a big scene scale somthing like 1.0 in realflow will decrease the mesh flicker but I havn't had a try.

Increase the resolution, and the Frame rate, the scene scale is also an issue if it's to Small, try to simulate in a Factor of 1
