Hello everyone.

The last plugin for LW, the 1.3 as I know, includes the option Mesh export.
I have a mesh with an animated displacement map, and I use the Mesh export in LW. It creates a sequence of bin files. But I don't know how to import these files into Realflow.:(

Can anyone help me? Thanks.:)

Check page 120 of the User's Manual. It describes the Binary Loader which will allow you to import a sequence of Bin Files into Real Flow.

Hey,

Sorry for the late reply.

When I have something animated in Lightwave that I want to bring into Real Flow, I export as a SD file. I've done that with pretty complicated geometries.

Control Q will bring up the Master Plug in control panel, and use the drop down menu to get to the Next Limit Plug In manager. Double Click to bring up the panel.

Click on SD Export and add only the parts of your Lightwave scene that you want to interact with the particles in Real Flow.

Click on the word "Mode" and change the mode from "Matrix" to "Vertex", else your animation data will not be exported.

Click the "Export" button and wait. Depending how many frames and how many faces you have in the export, it could take a while.

Good luck!
