I tried how you sad and it don't works when I use Render Type Points.
When I used Object it works fine.

That looks very cool and seems to be a good option to render natural effects such as spray particles in ocean environments, dust in the desert, maybe snow etc.
RF10 standard + RFC4D

yes. I think that can be used for many different things.

Here you can see the simulation in RealFlow 2013.
I am still rendering this short sequence now with RenderKit-Meshing (Water),
RenderKit-Meshing (Splash) and Particle-Rendering with Hair (Foam).

I think the spray and splash is very good and pretty naturalistic !

Regarding the material of the water, it seems to me a little too much transparent, at least if it should represent a piece of ocean, not a beach. This does not mean that I could do it better :mrgreen:

I just saw another RF movie on youtube where the ocean material looks like I would choose for an ocean:
