Export SD file from cinema 4d animation for realflow10

Post by smamylee » Tue Nov 17, 2020 12:54 am

Hi Guys,
I just started to using cinema 4d / realflow yesterday.
I've created mixing liquid animation in cinema 4d and trying to export that in sd file format so i can use it in realflow.
It seems like they have a separate plugin but I have no clue where to find it.
Could you guys help me?
Thanks :)

Hi
you are probably thinking about the "RFconnect" plugin that is used to export objects to RF standalone and to load particles and meshes for rendering in C4D. That would be available at https://portal.nextlimit.com/downloads in the "RealFlow all versions" section.
You can export Cinema4D native objects like plane, cube or animated characters in SD format with that connectivity plugin.
However, with the RFC4D plugin version of RF you can export generated particles and meshes only in alembic abc format, not as .bin or .rpc or other formats.
RF10.5 standard + RFC4D3, Mac&Windows
