making certain emitters freeze/static

Postby toxicbueffel » Mon Oct 10, 2011 9:44 am

hello ,

there is one thing that i want to achieve, but i do not know how to.....:
i want have have a fully calculated particle emitter (like in the image attached)
which just freezes but still interacts with a new emitter.

i want to have a second emitter which shoots particles through the first one, which isn´t moving anymore.

can this be achieved?

do i make sense?

all best and thanks in advance

tim

Hi toxicbueffel.......may b u can try like this.... if the first emitter particle is already calculated means, u can load tat one as a single BIN file(Hold the particle) and with simple python script u can emit secondary particle from that.....if the first particle cont is too high, thr is possiblity of memory problem while simulating.....
:)
BEST OF LUCK......
