Stray Particles

Postby BaldEagle » Mon Feb 14, 2011 5:39 pm

I set up an initial state, filling a box full of water. After 10 hours I came back and saw that everything was fine except there are 3 stray particles. Is there any way to get rid of the 3 particles? I didn't have the volume box in the scene because all the particles seemed to go into the box without escaping.
Thanks.

There's a particle selection tool in the menu at the top of RealFlow. Once you have the particles selected that you want you can delete them and then continue the simulation from there. See the help for the specifics on the particle selection tool.

or if you don't want to simulate I wrote a script which removes pieces of a simulation as a post process. It's called 'object containment'

available here:

hopefully the instructions in the files should be enough to understand how to use it. I apologize if it's a little complicated, but it works.
