Increase mesh size?

Postby phizikl » Thu Apr 22, 2010 2:53 pm

Hi,
im glad to be back into realflowing, have been out for a couple of months...

I am importaing a particle simulation from 3dstudio max
its very simple, about 400 particles of a mathematical formula programmed in max,
i want to mesh it in realflow

i am no expert in settings, and i am having trouble increase the mesh size,
the mesh should stay one piece as much as possible, even though the particles are changing position and sometimes far apart,
how can i increase the mesh size?

i have even turned down scale alot, but its not changing that much, please help!

thanks alot

Increase mesh size?

i just made the particles inside max with a smaller scale, so now they are closer together,
that did make the mesh in realflow BIGGER,

but, how can i control this size?

in the beginning i want the mesh to be small, because particles are close, and later one i would like the mesh to be big, because particles are further apart....

i want to control 1)the size of the mesh, and 2)how the mesh stays together

Play with the Radius and blend Factor. If you have enought particles you can decrease the Radius

Under the mesh you find your emiter , the Fluid you added. So now just go to the Setting in the First Tab you'll find blend Factor and Radius, you have to Be carfull by adjusting the Radius , decrease the the Value and Play with the blend Factor
