Right click in the "node" window (not on a node itself, on a grey part) and select add>mesh. If you only have one fluid emitter in the scene it will automatically be added to the mesh node. If you have more than one fluid emitter in the nodes window, you need to right-click on "mesh01" in the node window and select insert fluids and select each fluid you want to mesh under this mesh node in the window that pops up. If you want all liquid emitters added to this node then select insert all fluids.

No question is a dumb question if you're trying to learn. Keep going!

I've just noticed you've posted in the RF3 section and given you an answer for RF4 - is it RF3 you're using?

Well considering it's Thursday now, you'll be lucky to get this done by Friday. If I was watching the correct piece of the Digital Tutor's video you linked to you're talking about the magic daemon.

Digitalworkshop just recently finshed a project where he used particles to form the Gatorade logo. You can find the thread here and his finished project video here.

Obviously the end pattern of yours will be different, but the theory and practice is pretty much exactly the same.

Again, this is for RF4 but the principles and terminology are the same.

Have fun :)
