I'm trying to get a surfboard and a leash to dynamically interact with a realwave in an ocean simulation. I want the surfboard to be a rigid body; and I want the leash to move and bend with the ocean current. What is the best way to do this?
Thanks!

Rigd body and soft body combined?
Rigd body and soft body combined?
make the surfboard an active rigid body, the leash a soft body and connect them with a multijoint constraint(under the objects category). I advise you to use the GridDomain to make the ocean so you'll have particles interacting with both, the leash and the surfboard. Not sure about the realwave...
EDIT: Ouch, i forgot it's a Realflow 3 topic. As far as i remember you got a fixed constraint , but you can only use it to bind 2 rigid objects. Softbodies can be linked to rigid bodies only by scripting in RF3. Taking a group of vertices and updating their positions on every frame, so the rest of the vertices follow along
