How to reach this effect

Hello antogno
I'd probably use geometry to pull this one off.
Bring a plane into RF with that hole cut out of in with a nice sloping edge to it.
I'd give the plane a slight slope with a lattice so I could just use gravity to pull
the water towards that hole. Hope that helps

You could probably do this with geometry and animated displacement. Using RF for the rim (for mist for example) may well be something to look at.

There may also be the possibility that if you build the geometry and use that as a custom realwave, you might be able to script the waves to head towards and down the hole. Just an idea, although I've never done this in practice. Lastly, maybe a displacement map sequence would be worth a try on a custom RW surface.

Are you looking to have anything dynamically interact with the water surface?

Shaun
