Creating a spinning "Starfish"

Postby ChrisN » Sun Aug 12, 2007 9:09 pm

Hi there
Today I decided to dig out my Realflow once again (after about three months) and wanted to start with a spinning, starfish-like object that creates a whirl in water. Works nice, but my "starfish" looks so rigid, is there possibility to change this, like making it softer that his arms will bend a little as he spins?

Thanks for help
ChrisN

Edit: I'm using Realflow together with C4D Release 9 if this is important.

I've not really looked into this in any detail, but how does making your starfish a softbody react to the resistance exerted by the particles as it spins?

Shaun
