Realflow bugs section

hi all, I would like to recommend a new part of this forum dedicated to realflow bugs. I deal with bugs in realflow all the time, and it always takes at least a day for nextlimit to respond. It would be nice if there was a place to go to see if other users are having the same problems at least.

known bugs
+some max plugins' bugs: you can't import soft body dynamics as well as importing RW surface in .SD file :(

haha, that's nothing, try these:

using the 64bit realflow version, on windows xp64

click on the realwave icon to insert a realwave object into your scene: CRASH

using a binary loader object in your scene, click on the file dialog to select the bin file sequence, then click "ok": CRASH

the realflownode.exe file which installs with the current version (4.2.3.0102) of 64 bit realflow on windows xp64 is actually 32 bit !!

Did they do ANY bug testing before releasing this version ?? I have wasted alot of time on this.

Yeah...you better use 32bit version until NL team fix all this bugs :)

yeah but the 2gig max process size in windows 32 is frustrating. I am going to use the previous release (4.1.x) until they fix these.

apparently I wasn't civil in my reporting of this bug. Forgive me. It's just that this is very basic functionality that should have been caught by any automated software conformance package before nextlimit released this patch. I wrote a script which allows you to get around this bug (I also posted it on the nextlimit forum)

this simple functionality was working in the previous release and forgive me if I'm a little angry for basically wasting 1/2 day figuring out what is going on.
