Change the object but keep the transformation and keyframes

Postby Elgyn » Thu Nov 13, 2008 8:20 pm

Hello,

Does anyone have any idea how to replace an object with another one, but keeping all the keyframes along with the transformations of the first object?
Or should I say... how to transfer all the keyframes and transformation from one object to another?

All the best,
Elgyn

You should be able to go into the curve editor and save out the keyframe curves. You should then be able to load those back onto your replacement object. Never tried it though.

[EDIT] - sorry - thought you were talking about inside RF :ninja:

You could copy the tracks off in the curve/dope editor. Or just link, wire, expose transform, script etc..
