Can Realflow be used to simulate particle compression?

Postby Norfeldt » Fri Mar 02, 2012 7:50 pm

I have never worked with realflow, but came across it when searching for simulations for a lot of particles.

I just want to know if RealFlow can be used to simulate powder and compression of this into a tablet?

Realflow dosen't have a so-calles granular solver, but you might get close to the desired behaviour using Realflow and some python scripting. Realflow is also a simulation package for computer graphics, so the results are not scientifically correct, but close.
