I'm thinking about adding a render farm. Do I need to purchase another seat for it?Thanks

Yes and no. RealFlow licenses are floating so as long as you use it in only one place at a time you're okay. If you want to simulate on multiple machines concurrently then you'll need more licenses. There are licenses which don't have a GUI just for batch simulating which are substantially cheaper than the full GUI licenses.

See the "node" license for $500 instead of the full GUI for $3995.
