That's cool ! I like these case studies, when they also show how the fluid simulation looked inside RealFlow. Only then I get really the feeling what can be achieved in the end based on the simulations by RF...and it looks convincing in the end !
First I was a little surprised to see, that nextlimit speaks about effects in poseidon, because I read, that the German FX-house Scanline and the software "Flowline" was used for large-scale water effects in the same movie. But in this case study it is now clear, which effects shot was done using RF.

At poseidon were a lot of Companys involved doing fluids simulations. The Big wave at the beginning was done by ILM.
Scanline was doing in corporation with MPC the shots in the ship - where you can see fire and water interacting - as far as i know.
