Salt simulation inside a Shaker

I want to do a salt particle simulation.

I have rigged a Salt Shaker character which needs to simulate as and when the character jumps and should also empty it during a fall... any help will be much appreciated...

I have created the character in 3D max and was thinking of using a realflow granular solver but I have been trying to fill it with the particle using dyverso fill luck please anyone who can guide me with this, what will be the best approach, I mean realflow or pf flow or any other solution.
