NVIDIA GPU settings - Optimize for compute performance, on or off?

Postby Bobross » Thu Jun 14, 2018 10:32 pm

In NVIDIA setting there is an option to turn on or off "Optimize for compute performance". Does this make any difference in Realflow use / optimization of the GPU?

Yes, it does make a significant difference for Dyverso. (Not much experience with Hybrido, but I can verify that it does for Dyverso through repeated use.)

Of course, it depends upon your graphics card. If you have a more powerful nVidia, it makes much more difference than if you have an earlier model of the graphics card.

Thanks for the insight Forester! I have a 980 so doubtful it will matter much but I keep it on anyways :)
