Uploading the first tutorial scenes and the more complete draft document now. Should all be ready for download in 30 more minutes. Then, there probably won't be more from me for 5 or 6 days.

OK done! Spiralstaircase, go here http://www.expandingwave.com/rhone-river-tutorials/

Spiralstaircase, I had a loose hour this morning, so I quickly roughed out the Dyverso version of the Rhone River and posted the scene file for download on the page holding things for this tutorial. http://www.expandingwave.com/rhone-river-tutorials/ A render of the river as made with this simple scene setup now occupies the page.

Could you please send an email to me via the "Contact Page" on the http://www.expandingwave.com website, so that you and I might continue any further conversation about this tutorial, ... without occupying this forum space and boring everyone else to tears? I would like to know if any of this is helpful to you. If it is not, then we can discontinue the tutorial now. If it is helpful, I have some questions for you to help me better understand your objectives. I really have no idea what you want and am just shooting in the dark here.

Of course, any other readers of this Forum are welcome to use these tutorial materials in whatever way they wish.

Thanks Folks!

If you are one of the nine people who downloaded the Rhone - Dyverso version on Aug 4th and 5th, please accept my apologies. The wrong Scene file set and image file was posted on those days. The correct file set will be posted shortly.

No worries  I have downloaded the file. This is the first time that I see somebody using the Tractor daemon!
Never used it so far. By the way, the ocean force daemon might also work on Dyverso(?). It provides a useful preview in realwave style.

I've completed but pulled this lengthy tutorial from my website as the person requesting this help does not need it any longer. If anyone does want this publication in the future, please let me know via this thread.

interesting that this thread would just come up as I am battling same stuff

how about a river that is more whitewater and turbulant that the river Rhone? can it be done in Realwave too? a custom Real Wave object for the river floor would be hard to make, it would have to drop over things and wrap around corners.
