Does anybody know how to create these real rain splashes once they hit the ground. My scene looks like here https://www.dropbox.com/s/2n55cdm8e7cdi ... 0.png?dl=0 it's all great, there is some surface tension, and force drag and drops look nice but they don't interact once they hit the plane. It just doesn't much behave as a liquid. I've seen recently this awesome video from Realflow and it's actually exactly what I need to achieve. Can anybody reveal how to build scene like in this video https://vimeo.com/169120250 or what am I doing wrong?
BTW, I've also tried dyverso emitter but it crashes all the time with error of insufficient memory or something.
Many thanks for help!

Re: Drops splash on collision
Here is a project file (RF2015 standard version, 80MB) for something similar, using the standard particles. Initial states are included. Maybe it is a starting point for your project.

Thanks Christian, you're the legend!
Re: Drops splash on collision
Christian, do you know what to do about the crashing when simulating with dyverso emitter by any chance? It happens on the 10-20 frames. It's jamming RAM memory and it never happens with SPH. I don't understand why does it need that much of a memory. I tried to increase and decrease the substeps, I tried to run the command line with which RF btw crashes rightway on the first frame. Thanks

Re: Drops splash on collision
Crashes and hangs can have many reasons, including the GPU and drivers in this case.
