Exporting Alembic File

Post by AJ_roshan » Sun Apr 07, 2019 4:38 pm

How do I export the animation from mid way in Realflow?
For Eg: I have about 200 frames and my output should start from 68th frame... How should I go about it

My situation is... I have divided the shots into two. 1 angle (close up) from frame 1 to 68. and 2 angle (Mid shot) from 68 to 200. I tried skipping frame 1-68 while stitching the mesh sequence in RF. But afterwards when I import the stitched file in maya I could not see any animation from frame 1- 68. in Maya's time line.. I don't know what I'm doing wrong..

Hello, i'm a real beginner at realflow, but from what i'm guessing you should do the following.

In realflow go to FILE-> PACK AND GO

Save

Then Show details

Right below there is: File sequences

Select: Custom frame range

Frame range (for instance) 59 to 194

Then press ok.

To the left you can also copy the alembic file state.
