My demo reel 2008

Postby Elgyn » Sun Nov 23, 2008 2:59 pm

Hello fellows,

Here is my demo reel. Nothing too fancy nor realistic. I got into 3D this spring when I bought myself a new PC and I have done quite a lot of simple freelance jobs since then. Here is a glimpse to them:

Realflow was used only where the strange liquid (which is supposed to be beer) is poured into the glass, lol.

Well... laterz :)

it's good start in 3d. About demoreel - it's mutch better to show few of Your BEST works than everything You've got :)

This reel might have 30sec and it would be just enough

Quality over quantity is definitely the selling ticket for demo reels. A good demo reel length is generally about one minute of material. I would suggest condensing your reel and keeping what you feel is the best work. Cheers!

Okay thanks. I have always been wondering why people don't have their demo reel up in video sharing sites such as youtube, but instead they just have a their mov file for download and usually it's quite large to even bother checking it out.
That's why I think the availability is even more important than quality or quantity of demo reels.
