Unable to post for hours together

I was unable to post to this forum for hours together as the post form (this form) didn't show up. I tried using opera, Mozilla & IE but to no avail. Is this a common issue? Pl do check out the problem

sometimes connection between servers is broken, sometimes server of this forum may have some problems and slowdowns (probably when backing up database).

Did you have access to the site or was the site down for you?

I had access to the site and I was able to login too & view all the forum posts but when I hit reply, the form for posting didn't come up at all. I tried at least 10 times spread over 2 hours period
