RealFlow 10

The next version of RealFlow, now called again "RealFlow 10" and not "2016", has been announced today and pre-orders can be made.

I don't know, if the learning edition option still exists for RF10? Maybe you have to contact Nextlimit for this.

One thing I've heard is they will no longer be supporting the Lightwave version of Real Flow Connect, which is a real bummer. I hope the old version I have installed already will allow me to use this. The two tools I mentioned above will solve a lot of problems I been having and will allow me to do projects I've not been able to do until now.

So what exactly is the new skinner for? I couldn't work out from the short clip. :)

It looks like, and I'm hoping, that it covers the object with particles and creates a skin over the surface.

Yes, I see. Obviously, they think that too many people used it instead of a full license. We will know in the next years, if the new strategy works for them :ugeek:
I have paid the annual maintenance which includes the upgrade. The standard license type seems to be less expensive than in 2015(?).

Nevertheless, the new version has improved a lot. I like the new project management and the granular solver, the multi physics options etc.
