Try to model the character objects 3 times larger inside Maya, then export again.

The important thing is that the objects become larger in size (I was thinking about absolute size, not font size).

I have not done this in a while, so I did the following steps:

1) In Maya create text in the "bevel" mode, used arial bold font size 48
2) Select the object and in the transform setting use 3 in the scale fields to make it 3x bigger
3) In the polygon-edit mesh menu use "triangulate" because realflow likes it
4) Use the export all command to export the object, use the "SD" file format for export
5) in RF, add object for import
6) error message about degenerated faces appears, ignore that
7) use fill object emitter to fill the text, with 2 layers removed and in the liquid interaction tab of the object I reduce the collision distance to 0.1
8) run simulation

Seems to work like that. I saw some crashes during simulation, when the resolution of the emitter was set higher and the collision distance was not yet correct to give room for the particles(?).
