Re: Fill object trhough DSPLINE... is it possible?

To let an object follow a dspline in RF standalone... I don't think it is possible. What I have done several times: animate the SD geometry by letting objects follow spline paths in my 3D application (Cinema4D) and then export this as animated SD file. Alternatively you can create a spline in a vect...

Re: Question about a Swirl shape

Hi the challenge with special shapes is that it often depends on some small changes in the parameters done by trial and error. Therefore just some general remarks: 1) A flat shape is best created by very narrow emitters, for example a thin square emitter or linear emitter 2) Falloff-settings in the ...

Re: Question about cache simulation

Maybe the wet map cannot be created with cached data. I have not done it with cache, but I could think that wet map creation needs active collision events which are not calculated in cache mode.....

Re: Why are there so many little holes in my mesh?

Hi the large amount of particles does not avoid holes in the mesh, but it provides more detail to the fluid. Have you used the "Hybrido mesh" or the VDB-version of the Hybrido mesh? You are not obliged to use those. You can also choose the "Particle Mesh" and manually insert (rig...

Re: Been kinda quiet here this last week

Hi Forester, yes, it is quiet.. but that is ok with me as I am very busy at work. A new version of RFC4D should arrive at the end of the week, so there might be more questions regarding this soft. Nice picture! That must have taken some time to assemble all these glasses and fill them with liquid....

Re: Scaling down Emitter with same level of detail/particles

Hi

the only way to see the same amount of particles is to increase in the resolution in the fluid node.

Re: How do I get original materials back into 3DS Max?

Hi unfortunately, I don't use Max or the connectivity plugin for Max. If that realflow plugin for Max allows to transfer only keyframes of the objects motion, then it could be a solution. Otherwise, the method of breaking with RealFlow is not the right tool for this project. I think Rayfire could be...

Re: Soda bubbles within Dspline animation. -Filter Daemon

Hi welcome to this forum. Regarding the filter daemon with Dyverso solvers, I think it is the best choice. The dyverso system is much more accelerated by GPU computing than the hybrido system. The filter daemon can be a little tricky. It could be useful to have a look at the spreadsheet of your emit...
