Re: How to add Bubbles & Foam in Standard Particle

Of course RF works with imported objects, but you have to check collision geometry and refine it using cell size and surface offset. It's a process very similar to meshing. With Dyverso-SPH, default substeps (min/max = 1/300) are normally high enough to avoid leaking particles. With PBD you have to ...

Re: How to add Bubbles & Foam in Standard Particle

Yes, the help document recommends the "on collision" method, but that's meant for the tutorials specific scene setup only. In a washing machine, all particles will collide with the laundry drum over time and this means that all particles will become foam. So just use one of the other attir...

Re: Mixing RealWave and Hybrido shorelines

Hi shawn_kearney, RealWave and Hybrido have something in common: the ocean statistical spectrum, aka displacement. It's based on the same parameters, so it's possible to combine RW and Hybrido, but you'll have to do many things in post. Anyway, there are many examples where users blend RealFlow/Hybr...

Re: Soft Body falling in whipped cream

Hi Matiss, I see a k Speed daemon in your scene and it's connected to the emitter. I can only guess, but maybe the reason is that the particles are being accelerated when they're hit by the second donut? When the particles' velocities exceed the k Speed daemon's "Max speed" they'll be remo...

Re: Emitting different Geometry objects from emitter

You're welcome Nitin. Btw, here's a tool for Maya that basically does what you want achieve and there's even a scene file included:

Seems it uses MEL, but you'll hardly find solutions for rigid body emitter without custom scripting. Maybe it helps anyway...

Re: Emitting different Geometry objects from emitter

Yes, that's possible, but only through scripting. And there are two issues making it difficult to achieve what you want. The biggest drawback is certainly that RF doesn't support the creation of objects at simulation time. In other words: all the objects you want to use have to be present before the...

Re: How to change the Foam Threshold

I assume you're talking about the "Foam radius threshold" (just want to get it right)? No problems here on macOS and Windows: all changes are accepted. Does the value also snap back when you change it with slider? Another workaround could be to alter it wih a simple batch script (F10 for b...

Re: Do you use Maxwell in Realflow for Renders?

Is there a source of info you would recommend about Maxwell integration? I've been experimenting with RF animation in Maxwell Studio, and not have many successes? AKAIK the Maxwell manual is more or less the only source - unfortunately. The problem with RF-Maxwell integration is that it requires a ...

Yes, there's a list:

You can also find it in RealFlow itself under Help > Release Notes. It's exactly the same list.
