Re: Water misstake

Sorry oldcode, I was writing a pm to Chris1990. I saw that he seems to be german and maybe he could explain his problem better in german to me. ;) Cause it's a bit hard to follow his problem.

Re: Water misstake

Hey, it depends on how big your fan should be. If it is a huge turbine like 5m or bigger in real than it's better to take Hybrido. But if it's just a small fan like one meter or even smaller like the one in your pc than take SPH particles for more details. How did you import your fan? As an .obj or ...

Re: Stringy fluid splash in RF

Where do you want to achieve the tendrils in your simulation?

For liquids like syrup you have to higher the viscosity of the fluid. Did you do that?

Re: Stringy fluid splash in RF

I had not tested the tendrils option as well, will have to test it soon. I never put the size of the emitter so small. my smallest was maybe 0.2 in scale. I think it's really hard to work with realflow in this small areas. Change instead the daemon force scale for fluids and you should get the same ...

Re: help a noob get headed in the right direction for a spl

I didn't really change the gravity. It's just the change of the daemon force scale for fluids. But you can try it as well witch the gravity. So if it's a still you can build a setup and fake some extra splashes inside. like trying some approaches with different values for fluid, daemon, etc. And tha...

Thanks for the reply Christian. what about the effect in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LS0qoK_Aas? or even https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPrNzVmdFks? So you picked out the best of the best :D FusionCIS from the first video are creating there own internal plugins and pixelpro from th...

Re: help a noob get headed in the right direction for a spl

hey, so I would use SPH Particles and not hybrido for this task. The Geometry Scale isn't so importend cause if you would scale your glas to real size, it's horrible to navigate around in realflow. I would never go lower than 0.4 depending on the size of your actual objects. You can measure the obje...

Re: Water blast

Looks good! Depends on what you want to achieve?
Yeah sheeter isn't importend. only if you want to have more sheets of fluid and tendrils.

Re: Water blast

For an easy way try it with a sphere emitter. Add a noise field, sheeter and surface tension daemon. Let the emitter emit a few frames and than set the speed to zero. Try different values for the daemons. If you don't know what a specific setting of a daemon is doing, just click it and hit F1 on you...
